Gettysburg, PA, June 29, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- OPEN MINDS has announced Sunil Budhrani, M.D., MPH, MBA, Chief Medical Officer & Chief Medical Informatics Officer, Innovation Health and Michael Golinkoff Ph.D., MBA, President & CEO & Senior Vice President, PerformCare & AmeriHealth Caritas as the keynote speakers of The 2018 OPEN MINDS Technology & Informatics Institute. This year’s institute will focus on how executives of organizations serving complex consumers can thrive in a market focused on outcomes and performance. The Institute will return to the Loews Philadelphia Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from October 22-24, 2018.
Michael Golinkoff, Ph.D., M.B.A., is the President of PerformCare, a behavioral health care subsidiary of AmeriHealth Caritas. In addition, Dr. Golinkoff is the Senior Vice President for AmeriHealth Caritas, focusing on behavioral innovation to address medical issues in the populations served by AmeriHealth Caritas. He has nearly 30 years of clinical and medical management experience. Dr. Golinkoff holds a Ph.D. in clinical and developmental psychology from the University of Illinois-Chicago, and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his pre- and post-doctoral internship and fellowship at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center.
Sunil Budhrani, M.D., MPH, MBA, is the Chief Medical Officer for Innovation Health, a health plans partnership between Aetna and INOVA Health System, one of the largest health systems in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area, serving over two million consumers per year. The two organizations jointly own the health plan, which provides commercial and Medicare advantage plans in Northern Virginia and is designed to better coordinate care for health plan beneficiaries. Dr. Budrani, a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician, will be speaking about how advancements in telemedicine are shaping the future of service delivery in the health care market and how Innovation Health is utilizing technology to spur greater physical and behavioral health integration.
