LAS VEGAS, July 02, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Globe Photos, Inc. (OTC:GBPT), a marketer and distributor of vintage Iconic Pop Culture images for the art, editorial and commercial markets, has introduced Celebrity Vault Gallery, a turn-key photographic art business opportunity for fine art galleries, interior decorators, home furnishing stores and other retailers.
The Celebrity Vault Gallery can be operated either as a free-standing location or a store-within-a-store concept for existing galleries and retail establishments. The concept includes gallery walls that display dozens of iconic images from Globe Photos’ vast pop culture image library. The prints can be purchased and offered framed or unframed.
Available imagery includes stars from the golden age of Hollywood, legendary musicians, award-winning films, sports heroes, political figures and celebrities, such as Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles and many others.
“The introduction of Celebrity Vault represents the culmination of a multi-year campaign by Globe Photos to assemble an unmatched collection of millions of iconic pop culture images,” said company CEO, Stuart Scheinman. “At a Celebrity Vault Gallery, everyone can experience firsthand the beauty and magic captured in our premium artwork and collectibles, which feature iconic personalities and unforgettable moments from the worlds of entertainment, sports, history and politics.”
Celebrity Vault Gallery represents a unique business opportunity where for as little as $25,000 in setup and inventory costs, entrepreneurial gallery owners and retailers can offer their customers the world of iconic pop culture photography and instantly create a new profit center within their existing location.
“We also see opportunities for pop-up galleries in malls and other shopping venues, especially for the holiday shopping season,” added Scheinman.
Plans for the gallery concept include special electronic kiosks where shoppers can search the entire vault of images and order online, as well as take advantage of in-store print-on-demand, personalization and framing options. Celebrity signings, auctions and charity events can be arranged independently or in partnership with Globe Photos.
Globe Photos’ fine art photography features premium archival prints produced in limited editions to the highest standards. Each print is individually numbered, exquisitely printed on museum-grade fiber paper and comes with a certificate of authenticity and sequentially numbered holographic seals for security. Standard and custom framing options are also available.
“We see tremendous potential with this new channel of galleries-in-a-store,” stated Klaus Moeller, who has already signed up to operate the first Celebrity Vault Gallery in Southern California. “In addition to creating a new, high-margin revenue stream with relatively little upfront capital costs, it provides a great opportunity for any art gallery or interior furnishings store to drive new foot traffic.”
Globe Photos has assembled one of the world’s largest collections of iconic pop culture photographic imagery. The Globe Photos library comprises more than 10 million images representing 3,500 photographers from every corner of the world. In addition to the original Globe Photos Agency library, the collection also incorporates several other valuable archives, including the Harris & Ewing Historical Archive, The Frank Worth Archive, The Movie Star News Collection, Jill Gibson Archive, Camera Press and Photo Trends, among others. Globe Photos also offers a comprehensive stock photography archive covering artistic imagery and historical events.
