Marijuana Entrepreneurs Pitch Private Investors In San Francisco July 19 - 21

Former RNC Chair Michael Steele to Address Group; Dozens of Promising Cannabis Companies Pitch Investors in ‘Shark-Tank’ Style Format

San Francisco, CA, July 12, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --

On the heels of Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, and Orrin Hatch reversing or revising their prohibitionist stances on cannabis, more than 200 high-net worth investors from around the world will gather at The Park Central Hotel for a two-day forum on Friday, July 20th and Saturday, July 21st, hosted for members of The Arcview Investor Network.  High net worth accredited investors will be reviewing pitches from companies who competed fiercely for a slot out of a field of hundreds of applicants.

Michael Steele served as Chairperson of the Republican National Committee (RNC) from 2009 to 2011, and is a regular columnist for online magazine The Root and as a political analyst for MSNBC.  Steele will deliver a keynote speech, and recently sat down for an exclusive interview with Arcview CEO Troy Dayton.  Steele will be discussing his opinions on the cannabis industry, the political landscape, and the most likely path to safe and legal access for both medical and adult-use applications.

“California is the most promising cannabis market in the world, but it’s off to a choppy start.  At the same time Canada has gone legal and there are the best hopes ever for federal reform in Congress.  In such a chaotic and fast-moving market it is crucial that investors get up close to the companies building this market,”said Troy Dayton, CEO and co-Founder of The Arcview Group.
