PORTLAND, Ore., Aug. 28, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Exterro® Inc., the preferred provider of software specifically designed for in-house legal and IT teams at Global 2000 and AmLaw 200 organizations, today announced the release of the Exterro FOIA/Public Records Request (PRR) Portal Solution. With this solution, federal and state government agencies can deploy a website for constituents to easily submit and track FOIA and other public records requests. When the Portal solution is combined with other Exterro products, a tailored workflow will automate all the tasks associated with the entire request process. Requests are routed to the appropriate internal resource for research, retrieval, review and delivery back to the requestor. By implementing this solution, agencies will be able to significantly reduce the amount of time and money required to fulfill public records requests.
When constituents access the Exterro PRR Portal, in addition to being able to submit new public records requests, they can easily search and view an online library for documents already entered in the public domain if the associated agency supports this capability.
“The Exterro FOIA/PRR Portal is designed to help government agencies and others respond to records requests in an orchestrated process that is automated and repeatable. Used in conjunction with other Exterro technologies, the Portal is a key component to assisting agencies in all stages, from submission of request by a constituent through search, review and delivery of requested documents,” said AJ Samuel, Chief Product Officer at Exterro.
