Inspirata Announces Web-Enabled Version of Dynamyx™ Digital Pathology Software

Version 2.0.7 of Dynamyx eases internal and external collaboration, provides multi-language localization and supports the ingestion of a wide range of scanner image formats.

Tampa, FL, Sept. 10, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cancer informatics and digital pathology workflow solution provider Inspirata®, Inc. announced today that Dynamyx v 2.0.7 has been released with an array of new features to help pathologists work more efficiently, openly and collaboratively.

The latest release of the Omnyx Dynamyx software is Web-based, leveraging HTML5 technology to enable pathologists to collaborate between care teams regardless of location. This “anywhere/anytime access” includes reviewing cases, images and worklists remotely from a compatible browser without having to download an additional application; sharing case files with varying permission levels within an institution as well as with outside pathologists for second opinions; and engaging seamlessly with research colleagues.

Multi-language localization also is available. Language options include English, German, Spanish and Portuguese to address the needs of Inspirata’s customers around the world. Additionally, in keeping with Inspirata’s scanner-agnostic philosophy, Dynamyx 2.0.7 can ingest bright-field images from the 3DHistech, Aperio/Leica, Hamamatsu, Philips and others.

“Dynamyx is more powerful than ever,” says Inspirata General Manager, Digital Pathology, Andrew Chomos. “It’s critical that digital pathology workflow solutions are open, collaborative and flexible to provide the highest level of utility to our pathologist community. We are proud of the ways this Dynamyx release achieves all of these criteria, making it easy for pathologists to reap the tangible benefits of digital pathology.”

Additional new features in Dynamyx 2.0.7 include expanded annotations and visual indicators to help a pathologist view case details at a glance. The installed client of Dynamyx 2.0.7 is compatible with Windows 10 and an update was made to the deployment pipeline eliminating the need to deploy from an external server external.

“We have invested heavily to ensure the new Dynamyx software seamlessly supports pathologists’ workflow and enables them to be as efficient as possible at diagnosing disease,” says Inspirata EVP and Founder Mark Lloyd. “This new software release offers market-leading advantages that are simply not available in any other digital pathology workflow solution.”
