KEMP, Texas, Sept. 12, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Larson Electronics, industrial grade lighting leader, released an explosion proof portable LED tank light that is rated for Class 1, Division 1 and 2, Groups B, C and D, Class II, Division 1 and 2, Groups B, C and D and Group B Hydrogen approved. This portable tank light produces 10,000 lumens of light drawing just 150 watts. This LED fixture is mounted to a wheeled cart and can be removed and used separately for additional convenience.
The EPL-16C-1MLED-B-100 from Larson Electronics is a portable LED light cart comprised of a removable 16 inch LED light head mounted atop a solid rubber wheeled cart fabricated from non-sparking aluminum. The Led lamp produces 10,000 lumens of light while drawing only 150 watts and provides 8,000 square feet of work area coverage. The light head measures 16 inches in diameter allowing the unit to fit through the standard sized manholes or entry passages commonly found in the petrochemical and marine industries.
Included with this LED light cart is 100 feet of SOOW cord terminated in an explosion proof straight blade plug. The EPL-16C-1MLED-B-100 is also multi-voltage capable and can be configured to operate on 120-277 volts 50/60 Hz. Further adding to the versatility and convenience of this LED light cart are 25 peel off Mylar overspray lamp protectors that ship with the unit. The protectors provide lamp protection from dirt or debris and can be removed, cleaned and replaced, lessening the need for tedious lamp cleaning or replacements.
