Vaughan, ON, Sept. 24, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Nightmares will come to life at the 14th annual Halloween Haunt at Canada’s Wonderland, opening Saturday, Sept. 29. Canada’s biggest Halloween event unleashes hordes of monsters at the park and features nine haunted mazes, six immersive scare zones and three wicked live shows. Halloween Haunt runs select nights until Oct. 31 from 7 p.m. to midnight.
New attractions this year include:
- The Crypt: Step into the darkness of a catacomb maze, filled with the skulls and bones of the long forgotten. Take a wrong turn, and you may find yourself drawn into mysterious vaults where the supernatural efforts of a cult are bringing the dead back to life.
- Wicked Hollow: Venture into this scare zone in the middle of a cursed forest where evil spell-wielding fairies and nasty gnomes roam. Be mindful of your path or you’ll fall victim to their cruel, tortuous magic.
- Vampire Disco: Vampire DJs and dancers will get music and blood pumping in this high-energy musical performance. Guests become part of the interactive dance party that only they can hear with wireless headphones. Grab a pair and enter the mesmerizing world of the Vampire Disco.
Guests at Halloween Haunt also have a unique opportunity to experience the park after dark. Ride your favourite thrill rides after the sun goes down and witness amazing nighttime views you won’t get anywhere else.
Halloween Haunt is not recommended for children under 13. Most park rides and attractions will be in operation. Guests are not permitted to attend the event in costume.
