KEMP, Texas, Oct. 11, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting sector, announced the release of a work area lighting string light. This work site light set accepts up to five, 100-watt lamps that provide high quality temporary lighting. This work area light string has daisy chaining capability, allowing multiple stringers to be connected end to end and used across an entire job site.
The WAL-SL-5-10.2-MWG-NL is a work area light set that comes with five molded E26 lamp sockets with metal wire guards for added lamp protection, and accepts LED, compact fluorescent, or incandescent lamps up to 100 watts. Each metal mesh guard contains a hook eyelet with an s-hook, allowing operators to hang the lights overhead and move them around with ease.
10 feet of 10/2 SEOOW cable is included between each lamp unit, stretching this entire unit to a total length of 50 feet. To connect to power safely and easily, an additional 5-feet of cable is included, which is terminated with a standard 5-15 straight blade plug. For larger job sites, multiple work area string lights can be connected on both ends to extend the work area illumination. The power source and overall amp draw will determine how many work site string lights can be daisy chained.
“This stringer light is really nice for operators who want to supply their own lights, or may want to make adjustments in the future, since the unit does not come with any lamps,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics LLC. “You get all of the flexibility and ruggedness of our string light systems, with the added addition of choosing whatever lamps you want to use given they will integrate into the system.”
