Subject to testing and regulatory approval, Nasdaq Commodities is planning to delist the remaining fuel oil contract which has expiry in 2019. The planned delisting is the last step in the complete closure of the current fuel oil product offering at Nasdaq Commodities.
Delisting of Fuel Oil (European) Futures contracts
All Fuel Oil 3.5% FOB Barges Rotterdam - RDM35FOSS contracts with expiry in 2019.
Delisting of Fuel Oil (Asia-Pacific) Futures contracts
All Fuel Oil 380 CST FOB Cargoes Singapore - SPO380FOSS contracts with expiry in 2019
The delisting completes the overall closure of the all fuel oil offering, as per earlier communicated Exchange and Clearing Notices (no 11/18, no 38/18 and no 40/18).
For the sake of good order, the following fuel oil contracts will no longer be available for trading and clearing post December 31st, 2018:
- Fuel Oil 180 CST FOB Cargoes Singapore - SPO180FOSS
- Fuel Oil 3.5% FOB Barges Rotterdam - RDM35FOSS
- Fuel Oil 3.5% FOB Cargoes Mediterranean - MED35FOSS
- Fuel Oil 380 CST FOB Cargoes Singapore - SPO380FOSS
All the above mentioned contracts for delisting have no Open Interest post DEC18 and are as of today suspended for trading and clearing. In avoidance of doubt, contracts with Open Interest in fuel oil with expiry in 2018 will remain open for trading and clearing until final expiry.
