Aurora, IL, Nov. 08, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cabot Microelectronics Corporation (Nasdaq: CCMP), the world’s leading supplier of chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) polishing slurries and second largest CMP pads supplier to the semiconductor industry, announced it has been recognized by 2020 Women on Boards with an Ambassador Award for having more than 20 percent of its board of directors comprised of women. The Award will be presented at 2020 Women on Boards’ 7th Annual National Conversation on Board Diversity, in Chicago.

Barbara A. Klein, who has served as a Director of Cabot Microelectronics since 2008, will accept the award on behalf of the company. This is the second year Cabot Microelectronics has received this prestigious designation. Ms. Klein also serves as a director of Ingredion, Inc., which is also a recipient of the Ambassador Award.
