SAN CLEMENTE, Calif., Nov. 15, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via OTC PR WIRE -- Image Protect Inc. (OTC:IMTL) (imageprotect.com) (“Image Protect” or the “Company”), a global leader in the end-to-end copyright Infringement sector, is excited to release initial data from the Company’s live beta test for its new IPShare™ model, a comprehensive digital image infringement protection and monetization system driven by the IPShare™ in-image advertisement marketplace. The initial test data suggests the company may reach a monthly run rate of 146 million image sharing events per month on the IPShare™ platform by the end of Q1 2019.
The Beta Test consisted of a diverse set of 500 images on the IPShare™ model tracked over the course of 60 days. 78% of the images were shared. Of those shared, each image was shared an average of 74.94 times, adding up to 29,228 total image sharing events. The Company is setting its initial target for total live images on the IPShare™ platform at 5 million by the end of Q1 2019. If this goal is reached, then this initial test run data suggests a run rate of 146 million in-image ad sharing events per month by the end of Q1 2019.
The Company is currently refiguring its projections for larger websites such as Buzzfeed and WordPress for the hard launch.
Lawrence Adams, Company CEO, stated, “This first controlled test confirms many of our core assumptions about the potency of the IPShare™ model and the strategic pivot that it represents for Image Protect. We are thrilled to see these results. Image Mobility was above our expectations. The model presumes that sharing events are monetizable, and this level of rapid sharing of images in such a short amount of time suggests a very robust demonstration of the validity of the IPShare approach.”
The company is in talks with major brands, celebrities, and influencers to make them aware of the IPShare model and marketplace as a resource for both monetizing and protecting the value of their digital representations and messaging efforts online.
About IPShare
Image Protect finds millions of editorial websites using their client’s photos. As an option to the standard DMCA takedown notice, IPShare™ generates a block of code that allows photos to be copied and pasted into any website – similar to code references on sites that embed Youtube or Vimeo content. It’s as simple as copying and pasting the embed code into the user’s website template, i.e., WordPress, Blogger, SquareSpace, Wix, etc. The image is then instantly transformed into an online billboard, containing in-image advertising, hot links, social sharing and dynamic messaging. This is turning the traditional Copyright Infringement model into a cooperative relationship for both parties.
