The Oneida Group Appoints Three New Executives

Bert Filice Returns to Company as President and Chief Sales Officer; Mike Hanson and Mark Cymanski Named SVP of Supply Chain and VP of Procurement


COLUMBUS, Ohio, Dec. 17, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Continuing to make growth-oriented investments in operations, The Oneida Group has expanded its leadership ranks with the appointment of three senior executives, all of whom have extensive prior experience with the company. Bert Filice has been named President and Chief Sales Officer. Mike Hanson and Mark Cymanski have been appointed Senior Vice President of Supply Chain and Vice President of Procurement, respectively.

A former long-time Oneida Group executive, Mr. Filice served from 2011-2015 as a Senior Vice President with the company (then known as EveryWare Global, Inc.), leading sales and marketing efforts for both the Anchor Hocking and Oneida brands across consumer, B2B and foodservice markets. Prior to that, he spent seven years as the Senior Vice President for Marketing and Sales for Anchor Hocking, directing all global sales and marketing efforts. Most recently, he was President of Magnotta Wine Corporation, Canada’s third largest and most award-winning winery.

Mr. Hanson, another Oneida Group veteran, has served since 2016 as Senior Vice President of Hollander Sleep Products, the largest supplier of bed pillows in North America. Prior to that he was an executive consultant focused on leveraging lean operations and supply chain leadership into a primary driver of financial performance.  He also previously served as Senior Vice President of Operations at Hoffmaster Group Inc. Earlier in his career he was Vice President, Supply Chain for EveryWare Global Inc., where he directed global supply chain, sales and operations planning, production and inventory control, distribution, transportation, forecasting and maintenance, repair and operations purchasing.

Mr. Cymanski previously served as Director of Global Purchasing for Anchor Hocking, responsible for generating cost improvements and managing enterprise-wide inventory to budgeted levels while improving customer service levels. Between joining Anchor Hocking originally in 2004 as a Global Sourcing Manager and returning in 2009 as a Sourcing and Procurement Manager, he was a Planning Manager for Elmer’s Products, which produces a line of adhesive, craft, home repair and office supply products.
