Ecoslops : Two very positive decisions for our units in Sines and Marseilles

· Portugal:  3,032 k€ non-repayable on European IAPMEI grant
· Marseilles: operating license granted to the project

PARIS, January 31st, 2019 - Ecoslops reports two important decisions for its existing site in Sines, Portugal and the one under construction in Marseilles.

Ecoslops reminds that its investment in Portugal for its first industrial unit in Sines had benefited from a 6,277k€ advance from IAPMEI (European ERDF fund). On January 30th, 2019, IAPMEI notified Ecoslops of its decision to make the amount of 3,032k€ non-repayable (out of a total remaining of 5,177k€ at the end of December 2018). Ecoslops has always recorded all of this grant in liabilities (conditional advances). The decision of IAPMEI is based on the fact that 100% of the socio-economic objectives which had been set at Ecoslops when the aid was granted were fulfilled by the company.

Ecoslops warmly welcomes this decision, which strengthens its balance sheet and enables it to focus its resources on new projects under development.

In this regard, concerning the Marseilles project, Ecoslops received this week the operating permit for its petroleum production unit within the TOTAL La Mède platform in Châteauneuf les Martigues. The building permit was granted in September and this last authorization closes the regulatory file required for the construction and operation of the unit. All the study and equipment packages were awarded and the suppliers have started the works and the equipment manufacturing. The expected starting date of the unit is scheduled for the last quarter of 2019.

These two decisions demonstrate that Ecoslops has the capacity to meet the highest requirements of European administrations from a financial, social and technical point of view. They reflect the quality and commitment of his teams.
