Zelle allows Mountain American Credit Union members the ability to send and receive money typically within minutes when both parties are already enrolled. Funds are transferred from one bank account in the U.S. to another, using only a recipient’s email address or U.S. mobile number. Banks and credit unions of all sizes offer Zelle in their mobile banking apps, allowing more than 100 million consumers to send and receive money with friends and family regardless of where they bank in the U.S.
