PLAINVIEW, NY, March 11, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via NEWMEDIAWIRE -- The Joint Venture of Italian Food & Beverage Corp. (OTC PINK: IFBC) and ID Beverage Group LLC has contracted with the vintner Tenuta Casteani https://www.casteani.it/en/ to import and distribute its vast offerings of Italian wines. The initial delivery, in the form of a full container, will be received in the US within the next 60 days.
The agreement, forged among Dino Luzzi, CEO of IFBC (www.ifbcorp.com), Pietro Romani, CEO of ID Beverage Group LLC (www.idbeveragegroup.com) and Mario Pelosi, CEO of Tenuta Casteani, makes ID Beverage Group LLC the exclusive importer of Tenuta Casteani wines in the New York State.
The marketing plan is to focus efforts on ID Beverage’s existing clientele of restaurant groups, night clubs, wine and liquor stores, high-end wine shops and wine clubs, located mainly on the Eastern Seaboard of the US.
Thus far, these wines have been sampled and well-received by these discerning customers.
Distribution is set for May of 2019.
The Tenuta Casteani Wine resort is situated in the Maremma Toscana region, (Italy) they produce native wines such as Vermentino and Sangiovese, creating innovative Vermentino sparkling with Charmat Method, and Spirito Libero obtained without the addition of sulphites, and Syrah in jar. One of their most awarded wine is Terra Di Casteani which recently in 2018 received the Gold medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2018, and the Sessanta which is Rosso Doc made out of two native grapes from this terroir: Sangiovese and Alicante Bouchet. Blending the two grapes created a modern wine, still very much anchored to the land of Toscany, once the fermentation is completed, is transferred in barrels where is maintained for 12 months.
