Winston-Salem, NC, March 19, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Today, Inmar announced a partnership between the Inmar Analytics Forum, Wake Forest University School of Business and GENYOUth to support the next generation of analytics innovators through two competitions at the 2019 Inmar Analytics Forum, March 25-27, 2019 in Winston-Salem, NC.
In partnership with Wake Forest University School of Business, the 2019 Inmar Analytics Forum will feature the 2019 Wake Forest University Graduate Business Analytics Case Competition on March 27, 2019. Students enrolled in business analytics and similar master’s programs at seven colleges across the U.S. will participate in a data-driven business strategy challenge that aims to solve a real-world business problem with insights derived from data.
The colleges and universities participating in the 2019 Wake Forest University Graduate Business Analytics Case Competition include:
- College of William and Mary
- Duke University
- University of Cincinnati
- University of Denver
- University of Tennessee Knoxville
- Virginia Tech
- Wake Forest University
“The Wake Forest University Graduate Business Analytics Case Competition provides analytics students from around the country the opportunity to showcase and enhance their analytical skills by focusing on a real business problem,” said Jeff Camm, Associate Dean of Business Analytics at Wake Forest University School of Business. “To be successful, the students not only need to utilize their analytical skills, but they also need to work under pressure as a member of a team and effectively communicate the results of their analysis to management. All these skills are critical to being successful in analytics and as an extracurricular activity, the competition helps ensure that participants are market-ready when they graduate.”
In addition, the 2019 Inmar Analytics Forum and GENYOUth have partnered to empower area students and inform the next generation about health and wellness technology. Area middle and high school students will work with mentors to design and pitch their big ideas around health innovation technology in the Healthy App Innovation Challenge on March 26, 2019.
“GENYOUth is thrilled to partner with the 2019 Inmar Analytics Forum to provide local students with the opportunity to work alongside Inmar experts, share their feedback on existing Inmar apps and design their own tech-focused solutions to help their peers become healthier,” said Alexis Glick, CEO of GENYOUth. “As we’ve learned through our social entrepreneurship program, AdVenture Capital, inviting students to be a part of the development process builds trust and buy-in. I look forward to seeing what these incredible young people come up with. “
Area middle and high schools participating in the Healthy App Innovation Challenge include:
- Hanes Magnet Middle School
- West Forsyth High School
- The Middle College at Bennett
- Reidsville High School
- Page High School
- North Forsyth High School
- Mt. Tabor High School
- Lumberton Jr

- James B. Dudley High School
“The brightest minds and voices of today’s students will bring a perspective to the 2019 Inmar Analytics Forum that we, as today’s leaders, are encouraged to hear,” said David Mounts, Chairman and CEO of Inmar. “Their ideas and approaches are framed from experience we do not have, especially in this age of digital transformation, and that is why the student case study competition is such an important element in our annual Forum. I look forward to learning from their innovative solutions.”
The 2019 Inmar Analytics Forum expects to attract more than 600 attendees to learn how to implement data-driven strategies for improving consumer and patient outcomes. The registration deadline is March 26, 2019.
