San Jose, CA, April 23, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Objectivity, Inc., a leader in enterprise database software platforms for critical, operational, real-time data and sensor fusion systems, announced a significant increase in bookings for its first nine months of its fiscal year 2019, ending March 31, 2019. “Objectivity is pleased to announce bookings growth of over 80% during our first nine months of fiscal 2019, as compared to the same period in fiscal 2018. This is complemented by increases for the same period in cash and receivables, and deferred revenue, exceeding 80% and 100%, respectively. The increases reflect additional business, as well as Objectivity’s transition from selling perpetual software licenses to focusing on renewable term licenses. This activity, along with a debt free balance sheet, allows us to continue to grow and fund our business internally,” stated Gary Lewis, CFO of Objectivity, Inc.
With Objectivity’s financial strength, Objectivity continues to innovate and develop its product offerings. Objectivity is excited to announce the upcoming release of a new cloud application, Metadata Connect, to easily discover and understand metadata or “the data about the data” at enterprise speed and scale. Metadata Connect goes beyond tracking static metadata and allows enterprises to dynamically understand how data interacts as it is changed while performing powerful navigation and queries in real-time. Objectivity’s Metadata Connect application will be released in May 2019 and will be initially available on Microsoft’s Azure Marketplace.
Additionally, the next major release of Objectivity’s core, enterprise-proven technology, Objectivity/DB 13, will be generally available in May 2019 with several new features to make it easier to get started, administer, and monitor applications. Objectivity’s new powerful query language, “DO”, which allows users to create, update, delete and query schema and data, and the new visualization dashboard, “Studio”, are only some of the major new tools in this new release that will make it easier to explore and understand the connections within data. With Objectivity’s focus on providing a software platform as a service, users can continue to deploy their mission critical Objectivity/DB applications on premise or in any cloud environment for large scale deployments.
The latest version of Objectivity’s ThingSpan product, ThingSpan 15.8, is currently available in the Amazon Web Service’s (AWS) Marketplace. Objectivity’s ThingSpan platform is an enterprise data and sensor fusion platform for graph and data analytics. Users can take advantage of the new features of the DO query language and Studio dashboard in this version of ThingSpan.
“We are pleased with the performance of our team who achieved significant growth in new bookings while bringing new technology to the market,” stated Jay Jarrell, President and CEO of Objectivity, Inc. “Objectivity continues to deliver new and innovative software products which have broader end user appeal and are easier to use, so our customers realize quicker deployment value. As the company continues to benefit from more ‘SaaS-like’ licensing models, we give special recognition to our world-class technical support and developers who continue to support some of the most demanding customer application use cases which are successfully deployed and continuously operating at scale and speed.”
