In every community there are fun activities held for children; however, these events are usually not suitable for kids living with Autism. The environments are generally too crowded, too loud and too bright to be manageable for kids who are sensory sensitive.
The Angel for a Day event will be a fun-filled day for local Autistic children and their families. The goal will be to provide the children with a memorable day that meets their special needs by making them feel welcome, safe and giving them a chance to socialize with other children without feeling different or singled out. An event created just for them!
CFF believes in supporting children, adolescents and families through education and in creating better future opportunities for people across various socioeconomic and cultural boundaries. They stand up for the rights of children and families and support measures in the field of education under the main theme ‘education for all’, by constructing schools in socially and economically deprived regions of the world.

The event which is exclusively for these special families will be held Saturday April 27, 2019 at the Boys and Girls Club in Ft. McMurray from 10am-3pm and will include activities such as a Dino Dig, Mess Zone, Egg Hunt, a Bouncy Castle and a Sensory Toy area.
