BURLINGTON, Mass., April 29, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Veracode, a leading provider in application security testing (AST), today announced that David Forlizzi has been named Chief Financial Officer. Forlizzi will be responsible for overseeing Veracode’s global financial organization and corporate development function. He will report to Chief Executive Officer Sam King.
Forlizzi brings his extensive experience from both private and publicly traded companies to Veracode along with his expertise in helping high-growth software companies pursue their market strategy globally and achieve their financial goals. A Certified Public Accountant, Forlizzi was previously the Chief Financial Officer at Infovista for 11 years, where he led the finance, legal and IT departments. Forlizzi’s background also includes accounting and leadership positions at companies like PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston and Europe as well as advising software and technology companies on their financial, growth and business strategies.

Forlizzi is the latest executive to join Veracode as the company augments its leadership team upon becoming an independent company. The company has also delivered on new product features which allow customers to integrate security into development and enabling DevSecOps.
