The assessment is a two-part process. Each company must complete the Employer Benefits and Policies Questionnaire. The Employee Engagement and Satisfaction survey consists of approximately 78 questions that employees respond to anonymously. The Best Companies Group handled the selection process and oversees similar programs in 25 other states. All companies participating in the 2019 Best Places to Work program receive an in-depth evaluation identifying strengths and weaknesses according to their employees, who were surveyed anonymously.
