HOUSTON, May 21, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Audubon Companies, a global provider of EPC and fabrication services, continues to strengthen its pipeline team to serve a growing roster of clients. The firm is pleased to announce the promotion of Derek Throgmorton from Senior Project Manager to Program Manager. The promotion will further expand Audubon Companies existing suite of integrated pipeline capabilities.
Mr. Throgmorton has been appointed as Program Manager at Audubon Engineering Solutions (AES), an affiliate of Audubon Companies, after serving as Senior Project Manager in the Company’s Pipeline Engineering Group. Drawing on over 10 years’ full project lifecycle experience in gas and liquid pipelines and facilities throughout the Barnett Shale, Eagle Ford Shale, Permian Basin, and Haynesville Shale, Mr. Throgmorton’s involvement in key projects has significantly contributed to AES’ growth in the Gulf Coast region.
In his new role, Mr. Throgmorton will be responsible for managing the relationship and portfolio of midstream projects for a US-based Fortune 500 multi-national energy corporation. He will report directly to Jay Pope, AES’ Manager of Projects in the Pipeline Engineering Group.
“Derek’s hard work, leadership skills, expertise in serving clients, and comprehensive experience in pipelines and facilities has helped him reach a new milestone in his career,” stated Max Hengst, Vice President of Pipeline Engineering at AES. “He is an emerging leader who has earned the respect of our clients, vendors, and employees.”
Prior to joining AES, Mr. Throgmorton held various positions as Project Manager at Atwell Group, Jacobs, and Willbros. He received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas. He is a member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and Gas Processors Association (GPA).
