BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Oct. 14, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TOMI Environmental Solutions, Inc.® (“TOMI”) (OTCQB:TOMZ), a global company specializing in disinfection and decontamination utilizing its premier Binary Ionization Technology® (BIT™) platform through the manufacturing, licensing, servicing, and selling of its SteraMist® brand of products - a hydrogen peroxide-based mist and fog - announced today that SteraMist® has been implemented into The Ziegenfelder Company, a frozen novelty manufacturer, with a purchase of a SteraMist® Environment System, adding to TOMI’s ever-growing food safety client list.
After the Ziegenfelder Company had an accidental fire, SteraMist was used as an emergency remediation service. Having witnessed SteraMist in action firsthand, the facility found itself drawn to the versatility of the technology and the wide range of areas in which the technology can be implemented.
Prior to the purchase of TOMI’s SteraMist the Ziegenfelder Company’s protocol called for manual cleaning processes throughout production and processing areas resulting in long downtimes. With the assistance of TOMI’s training and protocol development services, the team was able to successfully implement SteraMist in each of their three (3) facilities located throughout the United States, resulting in a reduction of cleaning time.
The Director of Food Safety and Quality for the facility stated, “We see great promise with the use of this technology in our factories. The ease-of-use, efficiency, and efficacy that SteraMist provides will assist with streamlining our cleaning protocol.”
Elissa Shane, COO, states, “TOMI is proud to onboard yet another food safety client to add to our list of premier clients. SteraMist iHP technology has previously been proven successful in the food safety sector, and we fully intend to pursue expansion throughout this field through additional clients and ongoing testing while continuing to innovate for a safer world.”
