TORONTO, June 24, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Arch Biopartners Inc. (“Arch” or the “Company”) (TSX Venture: ARCH and OTCQB: ACHFF), a clinical stage company developing new drug candidates for treating organ damage caused by inflammation, today announced it has arranged a non-brokered private placement offering of up to 900,000 common shares priced at $1.50 per common share (the “Common Shares”) for gross proceeds of $1,000,000 USD (approximately $1,350,000 CAD) (the “Offering”).
The proceeds of the Offering will be used to support the Phase II trial for its lead drug Metablok (LSALT peptide) to prevent acute lung and kidney injury experienced by patients with COVID-19.
The Offering is expected to close on or before June 30, 2020 and is subject to certain conditions including, but not limited to, the receipt of applicable regulatory approvals, including approval of the TSX Venture Exchange as well as the satisfaction of other customary closing conditions.
All Common Shares issued in connection with the Offering will be subject to a hold period of four months and one day from the closing date.
There is no material fact or material change about the Company that has not been generally disclosed.
