Long Beach, NY, Aug. 23, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- authID.ai (www.authid.ai) (Nasdaq: AUID) (“authID” or the “Company”), a leading provider of secure, mobile, biometric identity authentication solutions, today announced the pricing of its underwritten public offering of 1,428,571 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $7.00 per share, for gross proceeds of approximately $10 million, before deducting underwriting discounts, commissions and estimated offering expenses. In addition, the Company has granted the underwriters a 45-day option to purchase up to an additional 214,285 shares of common stock to cover over-allotments at the public offering price, less the underwriting discount. All of the shares of common stock are being offered by the Company. The offering is expected to close on August 26, 2021, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
The Company has received approval to list its common stock on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol “AUID” and is expected to begin trading on Nasdaq on August 24, 2021.
The Company intends to use the proceeds to invest in software product and platform development and artificial intelligence; to expand the Company’s business development and sales and marketing capabilities; and for working capital and general corporate purposes.
