TORONTO, May 25, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Firm Capital Property Trust (“FCPT” or the “Trust”), (TSX: FCD.UN) is pleased to announce that it has closed its previously announced "bought deal" public offering of 2,820,000 trust units ("Trust Units") at a price of $7.10 per Trust Unit for gross proceeds of $20,022,000.00 with a syndicate of underwriters led by Canaccord Genuity Corp. and TD Securities Inc. as lead underwriters, and including, iA Private Wealth Inc., Raymond James Ltd., National Bank Financial Inc., Scotia Capital Inc., CIBC World Markets Inc., Desjardins Securities Inc., Echelon Wealth Partners Inc. and Laurentian Bank Securities Inc. (collectively, the "Underwriters").
It is anticipated that the net proceeds of the offering will be used to repay indebtedness and for working capital and general trust purposes.
