Message Technologies, Inc. Adds VoIP Option for Speech Automation and Outsourced Call Center Clients

MTI's Flexible and Robust VoIP Environment Offers Ten Advantages Over Traditional Time Division Multiplexing for Speech Interactive Voice Response Technology Applications

ATLANTA, July 25, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Message Technologies, Inc.(r) (MTI), an industry-leading provider of speech automation and call center-outsourcing services, today announces that it has added cost-effective VoIP capability for its more than 2,000 clients.

"Anticipating the future, MTI's large investment in back-end VoIP infrastructure is in direct response to our clients' needs. Now that VoIP has progressed to being technologically stable and economically advantageous, MTI is pleased to offer our clients this industry-leading option. VoIP presents the benefits of extended functionality, greater outsourcing choices and significant cost savings," stated Darrell Knight, President of MTI.

VoIP offers virtually identical, comparable quality of service and sound quality as time division multiplexing (TDM), with at least nine other substantial advantages, including:

 -- improved performance
 -- increased availability and redundancy
-- redundant power supply on switches
 -- wire speed routing
-- QoS production support to optimize bandwidth
-- call compression placing 200 ports on a single box as opposed to
    92 ports with TDM
-- easier integration with existing (CTI) interfaces in customers'
    call centers
-- low cost call routing back and forth with virtual private
network (VPN) tunnels and dedicated data lines, and
 -- no transport fees.

MTI now has a VoIP staging and production platform on both VoiceGenie and Microsoft to accept incoming calls into the company's data center, from either a public or private IP network. The company uses the industry standard session initiation protocol (SIP Proxy) to intelligently distribute VoIP calls as well as provide load balancing and data management. MTI previously only accepted TDM calls. In addition, plans to shift MTI's Disaster Recovery center in Dallas towards a VoIP-compatible environment are in process.
