HOUSTON, Sept. 27, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Too often, public relations professionals find themselves in a reactive mode, unable to plan or say "No" to unwarranted demands on their time.
On October 14, 2005, PRSA Houston will host Peter A. Hollister, APR, Fellow PRSA, for a professional development workshop, "Strategic Communications Planning." Through this workshop, participants will learn strategic communication techniques to help them become more strategic, more prepared to offer solutions and counsel, and ultimately more valuable to key decision makers.
This workshop, open to all communications professionals in Houston and surrounding regions, will run 8:30am to 12:00pm and will be held at the Doubletree Hotel Houston located at 400 Dallas in downtown Houston. The cost for the workshop is $40 for PRSA Houston members and $50 for nonmembers. Registration is available online at http://www.prsahouston.org//en/cev/?199.
