Plan Pakhuysen comprises the new construction of four towers and the renovation of Pakhuys Afrika. The project provides for the realisation of a total of 130 homes, around 14,600 m2 of office space and 5,900 m2 of commercial space. A parking garage with 392 bays is located under the entire project. Ymere has purchased 88 of these parking bays. Rodamco earlier took the remaining parking spaces.
The sectional project which has now been sold encompasses the renovation of Pakhuys Afrika (5,900 m2), which will serve after delivery as office premises. The other part of the project comprises the construction of 52 free sector rental homes in an entirely new building, Huys Afrika, being built alongside and above Pakhuys Afrika. Heijmans had earlier sold the other Plan Pakhuysen premises to Rodamco and to Ymere. With this transaction the entire Plan Pakhuysen on the Oostelijke Handelskade - representing a total value of around € 97 million - has been sold by Heijmans.
