ContextWeb Places 17th in Deloitte's New York Technology Fast 50 Ranking of Fastest Growing Companies

New York Technology Fast 50 Companies Experience Average Revenue Growth of 3,044 Percent

NEW YORK, Oct. 11, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- ContextWeb, founder of the ADSDAQ contextual ad exchange with page-level technology offering advertisers premium inventory, efficient pricing and extensive reach, was recently recognized by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP as 17th in its annual Ranking of the 50 Fastest Growing New York Technology Companies. The New York Technology Fast 50, led this year by Sirius Satellite Radio, Inc., ranks technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies headquartered in the state by percentage revenue growth over five years.

ContextWeb (www.contextweb.com) was founded in 2000 and launched the ADSDAQ exchange in 2005. The exchange's patent-pending, page-level technology offers advertisers efficient pricing and extensive reach, making inventory on the exchange comparable to a site specific buy. As of August 2007, ContextWeb's ADSDAQ ranks among the top 25 ad supported properties, according to comScore Media Metrix. The exchange serves impressions from more than 350 advertisers, including 12 of the top 15 ad agencies and 1,000 publishers.

"We're excited to be honored by Deloitte & Touche USA for our exceptional sales growth over the past five years," says Anand Subramanian, CEO of ContextWeb, Inc. "The success of ContextWeb with the rapid adoption of ADSDAQ by the digital industry has been very gratifying, but we won't rest on our laurels. We hope to do even better in the next five years."

Technology Fast 50 companies are selected based on percentage revenue growth over the five years from 2002 to 2006. To be considered, Technology Fast 50 entrants must have operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2002 and at least $5,000,000 in 2006; be headquartered in New York; and own proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of its operating revenues, or devote a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology.
