NEW YORK, March 10, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Today interclick (Nasdaq:ICLK) announces the Company's inclusion in the 2nd semi-annual DoubleVerify Trust Index, listed as one of the most compliant ad networks for ad serving platforms in the second half of 2010. Inclusion within this index recognizes interclick's dedication to online media transparency as a best in class advertising technology company for brand safety.
DoubleVerify, a worldwide leader in online media verification, analyzed networks and platforms based on a number of non-compliance benchmarks including: instances of ads served out of inclusion lists, alongside inappropriate content and ads served to international audiences. To build their list, DoubleVerify examined metrics from hundreds of advertisers, thousands of verified campaigns and more than 150 billion advertising impressions to produce their bi-annual report. The company has recognized interclick in both Trust Indices to date, including the initial report released in September.
"interclick strives to be best in class in providing the most transparent service in our industry, and we are committed to efforts that promote brand safety to the highest standard," said Jason Lynn, Chief Privacy Officer. "Being named twice to DoubleVerify's Trust Index is an important endorsement of that ongoing commitment as well as our support of clear-cut compliance guidelines for the industry."

Setting New Privacy Standards
In another industry leading step, interclick recently integrated a Privacy Choice tool that goes beyond other opt-out initiatives to pull back the curtain on users' anonymous category segments, as identified by interclick's data providers. This tool allows users to not only view their category segments, but also remove themselves from all related databases with a single click, if they prefer.
Additionally, interclick is compliant with the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) self-regulatory principles. A key component of the DAA program is the Enhanced Notice, or the CLEAR Ad Notice initiative, a collaboration between several industry organizations. The initiative grants consumers an easy and direct means to set personal preferences on behavioral advertising, through an Advertising Option icon that notifies users which organization served the ad, where to find advertising policies and how to opt-out of such targeting in the future.
interclick is a member in good standing of major industry organizations, such as the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI), and follows all guidelines for best practices in privacy and compliance.
