Definition 6 Names Stewart Brooks as Chief Financial Officer


ATLANTA, Nov. 22, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Definition 6 today announced the appointment of Stewart Brooks to Chief Financial Officer.

Brooks brings over 20 years of experience as a senior financial executive for companies ranging from entrepreneurial startups to Fortune 500 corporations. He has a proven track record of building financially successful companies from the ground-up, managing high growth operations, securing equity and debt financing, and effectively managing strategic and tactical initiatives.

For the past decade, Brooks served as the founder and managing partner of Acuity CFO, LLC, a professional services firm offering interim financial leadership to growth-oriented companies. In addition to launching Acuity CFO, Brooks has held key leadership positions. As CFO of venture-backed TerraGo Technologies, Inc., Brooks led finance, legal, IT, and human resource functions during three successive years of 40%+ growth. While CFO of Intellinet Corporation, Brooks built the finance department from the ground-up, enabling growth and ensuring profitability and operational success of the organization as company revenues grew more than 500% over 4 years.
