ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Feb. 26, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- McKee Wallwork & Company (MWC), New Mexico's largest advertising agency and one of the premier integrated marketing firms in the Southwest, has promoted Jonathan Lewis to Vice President, Strategy Director, and Dave Ortega to Creative Director. In addition, Lewis joins founders Steve McKee and Pat Wallwork as a partner in the firm.
Lewis has been with MWC for eight years, starting as an intern and working his way up into roles of increasing responsibility. He oversees strategy development and account management for MWC's clients. "Jonathan has proven to be as talented and insightful as he is personable and conscientious," says agency president Steve McKee, "I'm thrilled that he will be taking an even bigger role in leadership at the firm."
Ortega joined the company nearly three years ago and most recently served as Associate Creative Director. Says McKee, "Dave has an uncanny ability to see around corners creatively. He will help ensure that we remain on the leading edge of marketing communications."
The two appointments are the latest in a series of bold moves at MWC, which last year launched the region's first content marketing newsroom. MWC is also taking an active role in the local startup community via its "MWC Lab" incubator, which has already spawned a new social media software application which the firm has recently begun selling to clients nationwide.
