(Oslo, May 6 2015) Member of Corporate Management since 2010 Asbjørn Grundt has been appointed Executive Vice President (EVP) of business area International Hydro. Jürgen Tzschoppe has been appointed EVP and head of business area Market Operations & IT.
As head of International Hydro Asbjørn Grundt (51) will be responsible for Statkraft's power generation business and hydropower construction projects in South America, South East Europe and South Asia. He will also be responsible for managing Statkraft's ownership in SN Power.
Asbjørn Grundt's career in Statkraft includes several management positions. For the last five years he has been EVP, Market Operations & IT.
As head of Market Operations & IT Jürgen Tzschoppe (47) will be responsible for energy management and market access for Statkraft's power generation business globally, trading and origination, and the group-wide IT function.

The two EVPs will take up their new positions on June 8th 2015.
