Voci Technologies’ Speech Analytics Platform Continues to Gain Traction in Q1 2019

First Quarter Marked by Growing Technology Adoption, New Hires, Industry Recognition


PITTSBURGH, April 16, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Voci Technologies, a leading provider of automated speech recognition technologies for contact centers, today announced that in the first quarter of 2019 it achieved record first quarter bookings and adoption.  Most notably, Voci’s top ten partners saw accelerated growth, with the majority increasing usage of Voci’s solutions by more than 80 percent over the previous quarter, indicating growing adoption by contact centers.

To keep pace with the growing demand for its speech analytics platform, Voci Technologies also reported that it has increased its staff by 70 percent from the same time last year, adding employees in all key functions – from research & development to sales and marketing, and operations. The company also plans to continue hiring throughout the year.

Growing Partner Base
Voci Technologies also has considerably expanded its partner base with the addition of blue-chip technology leaders within the customer analytics eco-system, including the customer experience management, workforce management and Call Center as a Service (CCaaS) sectors. 

Record Growth
The company also noted that it experienced an overall 49 percent increase in usage of its solutions in the first quarter of 2019, as compared to the first quarter of 2018. In the fourth quarter of 2018, the company grew its user base by more than 300 percent year over year, enabling an additional 4,000 new agents to leverage its technology.

Industry Recognition
During the first quarter of 2019, Voci Technologies received industry accolades and shared its expertise at industry events. The company’s CTO, John Kominek, led a session at the Nvidia GPU Technology Conference, addressing the advantages and pitfalls of moving away from off-the-shelf libraries to implement neural network inference algorithms from the ground up.

Additionally, Voci Technologies received the 2019 Outstanding Industry Partner award from the University of Pittsburgh, and was recognized by a local publication as one of Pittsburgh’s Top 12 Tech Companies to Watch.
